Quantum Speaker Cable Filter

What it is:

The Quantum Speaker Cable filter is ingeniously designed to actively filter cable ringing harmonics, EMF distortion, and shot noise at the speaker end of the cable.  The Quantum Speaker Cable filter works outside the analog band and will not alter the original signal.

What it does for your system:

The Quantum Speaker Cable filter is a specialized R-C network that cancels out high frequency RFI, EMF distortion, and shot noise between the amplifier output and the speaker crossover. The noise is removed without introducing any form of coloration throughout the entire musical spectrum. 

The Quantum Speaker Cable filter projects a realistic and expansive soundstage, true-to-life dimension, tonal reproduction, detail, texture, and imaging.

Why it works – the science:

Shot noise occurs in certain devices (e.g., vacuum tubes) due to random fluctuations in current and its spectrum is white in character.  For many solid-state circuit elements, the noise floor is dominated by frequency dependent noise, often referred to as 1/f noise.  Its spectral density increases as the inverse of frequency, just like pink noise; but unlike pink noise which is broadband, 1/f noise is typically confined to fewer than 2 kHz.  The key point is that 1/f noise behaves like the musical spectrum.  Its envelope mimics that of the musical signal.  Recent research indicates that perceptually such noise blends in very well with the music.  Once buried within the music, it is reasonable to speculate that 1/f noise defuses image outlines and adulterates harmonic textures.  By using Bybee Quantum Purifiers, the basic premise is that 1/f noise detracts from the listening experience: reduce 1/f noise and you improve the sound.
